• 1. From the M42 (J6) and The NEC south entrance:
• Take the A45 and follow the signs for the Airport up to the roundabout just before entry into the Airport itself. This roundabout (No 1) has a large shiny steel monument of some “flying pelicans” in the middle of it. Using this as a landmark take the southward exit road marked “Birmingham A45, Solihull B4438” down to an adjacent roundabout (No. 2) at about 50 yards. Here, take the left turning into Bickenhill Lane ( the B4438 ) signed for “Elmdon Trading Estate, Marston Green & Chelmsley Wood”. Follow Bickenhill Lane passing under a concrete Monorail bridge and over a Railway hump bridge and cross straight over two roundabouts (say No. 3 & 4). Before approaching roundabout No 4, you will go past the Elmdon Trading Estate on your left. At about 70 yards (60 metres) past roundabout 4 turn left into Coleshill Heath Road at traffic lights. Carry on and go straight across the next mini-roundabout ( say 5 ) and Royal Square Hotel is on the left hand side at the junction with Coleshill Road, about half a mile from the mini roundabout. In normal traffic, this should only take about 4 – 5 minutes.
• 2. Directions from the M6 (J4) not 4A:
• As you leave the motorway junction follow the A446, called Stonebridge Road, north towards Coleshill and Lichfield for approx. 300 metres up to the roundabout. Turn left into Coleshill Heath Road, follow road for about half a mile, going straight ahead at next roundabout (signposted for Marston Green), Royal Square Hotel is located about four hundred yards on the right hand side next to the turning into Coleshill Road which is the second turning from the roundabout. Normally, this should only take about 4 – 5 minutes.
• 3. Directions from The NEC north entrance:
• Leave The NEC via the North Entrance and turn right at the roundabout on the Bickinhill Parkway following signs for the A452 to Brownhills / Birmingham. Follow the road for about 400 yards up to the roundabout at the end of Bickinhill Parkway. Take the second exit into Chester Road (A452) following signs for Birmingham / Brownhills , Marston Green, Chelmsley Wood. Follow the Chester Road for about half a mile up to the next roundabout. Here turn left into Coleshill Heath Road to follow signs for Marston Green. Royal Square Hotel is located about four hundred yards on the right hand side on the turning into Coleshill Road which is the second turning from the roundabout. Normally, this should only take about 4 – 5 minutes.
