Far away from the rail station in Windermere. Had to take two buses from there. But the view is really good. Can see the Derentwater in the front.

I went to the derwent youth hostel with my scout group and it was great. the staff were realy friendly and it was great for running around. and the bedrooms were lovely. there was no end of action on the snooker table! we loved it! — scouting diva (2006-08-12)
