Very cheap out of season and beautiful dining hall (for the view). Nice facilites and very friendly staff. Location is a bit up the hill, but also enjoys a nice view on Conwy.

It has had a major revamp since I was last here 3 years ago and now for the most part must be one of the best hostels in Britain. The rooms are some of the best Ive seen with well designed bunks, new fittings and all ensuited. The eatery is not backpacker cheap but is good value with the food generously portioned. The views from the place are great.
