Pr' Tatko Hostel

Pr' Tatko Backpackers Hostel is a little homely place one hour drive from Ljubljana (the capital) in the north west of Slovenija on the border of Triglav National Park. It is set in an old farmhouse with its original rustic architecture and style and lies in the center of the Podkoren village near Kranjska gora. The region is famous for its skiing resort and the world cup in alpine skiing and ski jumps.

There are four spacious bedrooms with elegant decorations, a common kitchen, a bathroom & toilet in the hostel and a courtyard in front of the house.

The hostel is surrounded by the mountains and forests, so you can bike, trek or ski or you can enjoy the following recreational activities we offer in summer: rock climbing, paragliding, caving and rafting or kayaking in the amazingly beautiful river Soca in Bovec.

In winter the mountains offer a wide range of outdoor activities such as cross country or alpine skiing and snowboarding. We also organize dog sledding, snowshoeing and ski school for all those who have just started to enjoy winter sports.
