5 Amazing for its price!
Good location, great price, the common room has everything you need, free breakfast, free internet, lift. Cosy private en-suite rooms! Staff of Premium Hostel is brilliant and absolutely great! I definitely recommend it! Would stay here again for sure.

4 Clean, though nonsmokers will be exposed to cigarette fumes
We chose this room after comparing the prices all around. The price was reasonable though without breakfast. The location wasn't too far and you can catch a tram from the bus/train station to it. The staff spoke good English and are friendly/helpful. The common kitchen and rooms are clean and new. However, the twin/en-suite room we had was fairly small (just as small as the business hotels in Japan!) and although the place had signs against smoking, people smoke on the stairs at the lobby, resulting in fairly strong cigarette odour wafting throughout the lobby and the common corridor to rooms (the hostel need to have an open space for smoking compared to the closed space on the third floor of the reception area). If you have respiratory complaints then you must take this into consideration. The satellite TV was not available in our room, although on the positive side, the Wi-Fi worked well and fast as well as the kitchen being well supplied. Overall, we would not stay here again unless the smoking issue is addressed, and we would consider paying similar/slightly more for an apartment due to the small room size.

5 We arrived in Krakow expecting to stay at the Atlantis Hostel, but upon arrival were informed that due to renovations running past their deadlines, we would be staying at the Premium Hostel instead -- and what a fantastic experience that turned out to be. The Premium Hostel is really new and clean, and the rooms -- all with private ensuite -- were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and it is in a great location. We have stayed in hostels throughout Europe and this is by far and away one of the cleanest, friendliest, and best value that we have come across. We would recommend this hostel to anyone.
