The Hostelz.com Review
It's not an especially beautiful or exciting hostel, but it has all the basics. There are common areas on the ground floor and basement with a TV, ping-pong table, and pinball machines. Upstairs are the dorms and facilities. The hallways are lined with big lockers, something like what you may have had in school. The rooms are average, and the bathroom facilities are below average.
The reception is closed in the afternoon and after midnight, but there is a key code for guest entry after midnight. School groups frequent the hostel so there may be kids about.

I was in this same youth hostel about eight months ago on a choir tour. Wow!!! Yes, this place is awesome! Besides the freezing water and the not-so-much heat, but still . . . :) The downstairs bit is the best place to sit and to do nothing. :) — Stephanie!!! (2005-09-06)

This place doesn't have much going on by way of a party scene, but it certainly is good value for money. It has large rooms, a nice big bed, clean and spacious toilets and showers, a locker with key, and a filling (if simple) breakfast. Add the mobility pass, and the price (CHF 30.50) doesn't seem like bad value. — Anonymous (2004-09-05)

This was only my second time in a youth hostel, and I couldn't have picked a better one. — Allison Oldendorp (2004-04-10)
