The designhostel Ruhrstadt Hostel & Hotel Bottrop is located in one of the most fascinating metropoles of the world, the Ruhr Area.
We offer low priced accommodation with a ***-comfort for every one.

The Hostel lies central to the highways A2 and A42 and nearby the the Bottrop central station.
With a great view to the alpincenter and the Tetraeder, Bottrop's landmark, the Ruhrstadt Hostel & Hotel is the optimal starting point to explore the sights of the Ruhr Area, like Skydiving Bottrop (1km), Zeche Zollverein (10km), Veltins Arena (13km), CentrO (13km), Movie Park Germany (16km) and a lot more!

The Hostel comes with 99 beds in 19 rooms. Besides the favored shared rooms we also offer single or twin rooms.
All rooms are equipped with shower and toilet, TV and telephone.
Furthermore we allocate common rooms with tabletop soccer, pool table as well as a big play area and a luggage room.

Get out at ZOB Berliner Platz and change to bus number 263 towards Essen Boyer Strasse. Get off at Gungstrasse, from where it is a 6-minute walk up the street.

Very friendly staff. I had a tv in my room and it had really posh red couchs. I really did not expect that much as it cost me the same I paid in cheap youth hostals in other cities. Very well located, walking distance from Aldi, Spacious and very clean rooms. Continental breakfast not included, but only 4.90 euros the personnel and staffs are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean and had a shower.My family liked it a lot, Quality and price were very good the rooms are very clean, we would rate it 4 ****.If you're looking for a Hotel between The Movie Park to see Sponge Bob and Phantasialand with luxury rooms and great food, yet also want to avoid the noise of the busy city centre then the Ruhrstadt Hostel & Hotel is certainly the place to stay. When I first arrived with my wife and four children we were immediately made to feel at home by the staffs that were both friendly and helpful.As for the hotel itself - it looks amazing as if it’s been refurbished. The perfect blend of both old town and modern styling makes this hotel standout from the crowd,.The restaurant serves some great food. While the menu is predominantly Greek and not Germany and certainly found there was enough choice and variety on offer. how clean the hostel was, but most of all how accomadationg the staff were. we arrived very late as we got lost in the rain on our motorbikes after traveling for three long hours.
