YangShuo Backstreet Hostel opened in August 2003. Yang Shuo Backstreet Hostel is a beautiful, completely renovated in Jan. 2010. The one thing we knew for sure was that it had to be cheap, clean and nearby the things that make YangShuo Backstreet Hostel so typical. We believe in the fact that no matter how low the prices are, the rooms, toilets and showers have to be clean at all times. On top of this we make sure that the employees who work here are friendly and helpful to everybody who comes here.

We actually got booked into the hotel right next to the hostel, which was much more expensive, but we got it for the same price. This was due to the fact that it was realy busy and we arrived quite a bit later than we were supposed to. No complaints about that, as that hotel was perfect. Hung out in the hostel too, and they were very helpful, nice and cosy in the hostel in any case!

The staff were amazing. This is the first place in China that we felt that the people were not trying to make extra money off of us. They are honest about bus/train prices and tours. They are super helpful and give you great tips about Yangshuo and traveling around the area. The hostel is in a perfect location with cheap beer and you can eat home cooked meals with them for 18 RMB. This place just felt like home.

In Guiling, you can book Yangshuo backstreet hostel online, even u don't have credit card. Very easy!! and cheap clean. We drink and dance with Chinese people for 2 days right now. Yiannis give us beer 5 yuan, that is very cool. thanks
