5 The best hostel
I was in this hostel for three weeks approximately, and during this time i had a lot of problems with my papers. everybody was very nice with me. The bathroom is incredible, and what you see on the windows of the room is wonderful. i won't forget this image of belgrade.

4 The atmosphere was great, everybody at the hostel was very relaxed. The hostel is situated in a converted penthouse with very nice bathrooms, a large common area with a nice kitchen, and an abundance of space everywhere. Since many rooms aren't really seperated from each other, the smoking at night can be annoying for the rest of the guests. The hostel is located in the embassy area of Belgrade, which is a bit off from the places you are going to want to visit, but they can still be reached by foot if you invest a bit of energy.

1 If you want lodging which has a youthful, laid-back feel Monster can't be beat. However, if you prefer a peaceful sanctuary as a base of operations you may want to look elsewhere. Unfortuante, as Monster has so much potential! Very spacious hostel and extremely nice, friendly staff. However, Monster was quite dirty and messy (filthy bathroom with hair-clogged drains and overflowing waste basket) and don't expect to be served food.

5 Staying at the Monster Hostel is like finding out you had family in Belgrade. As in all the best small hotels and hostels its young owners hold court in the living room. Guests are invited to an endless discussion, over the ubiquitous beer and tobacco, on everything from avant-garde comic strips to the status of Kosovo. Beds, kitchen, floors and bathrooms are clean and the rooms warm. The Monster is full of surprises, from a eye-catching fake Greek statue to a luxurious hot tub. It's a fifteen-minute walk from downtown and I can't imagine wanting to stay anywhere else in Belgrade.
