Leaves a lot to be desired The location of this hostel is the only thing it has going for it. The pictures supplied were certainly not taken in the hostel. Maybe they are the private rooms on the upper floors. Not one of them is anything like what it is like. This was a cafe, turned into a hostel. The cooking area is the old cafe's kitchen. In this area cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. The layout does not encourage cleanliness. The security is almost nonexistent. The lock on the gate is definitely no security lock. The sleeping area -- six bunks -- is co-ed. No lockers and don't bring much luggage, because there ain't much room to put it. (Seems most bunks are taken up with permanents -- foreign workers.) There is no door or other barrier between the sleeping area and the eating/lounge area with its two computers and television, as well as the soda machine. Furthermore, one needs to pass through the sleeping area (you can't call it a room or dorm) to go from the kitchen to the eating area (can't call it a dining room). The showers have to be seen to be believed! Still, there is no other accommodation for the budget traveler in the area. So come prepared with earplugs and eyeshades. Wildwood is worth visiting.
