Not very clean I did not find this hostel to be very nice. The hostel was very dirty -- it looked like the beds had not been changed in weeks. It had no common room, so nothing to do. It did have a kitchen -- again, not clean a weeks worth of dishes. The write up on here is not very true and the pictures look nothing like it. It does not have the nice colors that they show in the picture. It is not even Birmingham Backpackers, Birmingham Backpackers is located next to the Coach station is Dig Beth so that is strange. It does not seem to have any staff, the person that checked me in I never saw again. It also doubles up as a homeless hostel by the looks of things. Overall I would give this place a miss, stay at the hostel in the city centre or a budget hotel.

This is a great hostel. They have almost everything you would wish for. The location is not in the best part of Birmingham but it is only a few minutes to the city centre and safe. There is a kitchen for guests use, a nice common room where you can relax, watch a movie, or use your laptop. They offer free internet access and wireless. The staff are amazing. You feel like you are at home with your family.
