The International Chiangmai Hotel (YMCA)

Good choice in Chiangmai
The International hotel YMCA Chiangmai boasts an excellent restaurant, a tropical swimming pool, and convenient seminar rooms in save cost with a warm welcome and an excellent service in a homelike atmosphere. The room was offered a very good selection of television channels, a curtained shower, a comfortable bed, and air conditioning -- all luxuries I have not received at inexpensive price anywhere else in Thailand.

YMCA are the best and thats the truth. They picked us up from the airport for free and made us feel really welcome with maps and the best places to go. The restaurant is fantastic and very cheap. Actually all of Chiang Mai is cheap right down to the alcohol. Rooms are beautiful just as you see in the pictures, with cable tv, mini bar, and a real bathroom. Cost three hundred baht each per nite in private room but well worth it. Located near central plaza, which has great shopping, about ten to fifteen minutes to night market. Side streets have fantasic internet that are really fast. Definitely recommend the night market, as they have very cheap stuff.
