I went backpacking all over Asia for four months staying at a large variety of hostels and the Phuket Backpacker was by far the best! The staff are very friendly and accommodating (putting myself and my girlfriend up at Christmas for a week with no reservation). The hostel was always clean and comfortable with well-furbished common areas. Anyone thinking of staying in Phuket I would recommend here above anywhere else.

Phuket Backpacker is awesome. This was our first time backpacking and we loved it! It is so clean, safe, and the location isnt too bad -- there is bus stop right out the front which takes you to Patong, Kata, and Karon for only 25 Bart.. but its a thirty- to forty-minute hike! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and kept the place in great condition. Met some really nice people while staying there as well. All in all its a great place!

Nice hostel. clean rooms, hot showers, nice common space with computers, TVs.
