It's not all it's cracked up to be. Although this "Hostel" promises a lot it and looks like a great and natural place the truth is -- it does not deliver. If your are traveling in Brazil there are plenty of good, beautiful places to go. Plus, it is extremely secluded and hard to get to. Also, there is no internet and using the phone can be expensive (depending on how much the owner likes you). Note, if you are thinking of volunteering at Jungle Beach DON'T DO IT! The owner tries to take advantage of travelers (money and work wise) and expects the volunteers to be house keepers and maids instead of tour guides and environmental educators (like what I was promised). — Anne , The World (2009-03-21)
