Warm, caring and inviting, beautiful buildings and gardens I recommend Casa Gialla highly. My friend Jen discovered it on the web a couple of years ago and I must say she did well! To be in an earthy and aesthetic environment where the hosts Paola and Clelia are sensitive, down to earth, and caring is a refreshing experience and you can really feel yourself relax and come home to yourself. I have been there twice now to be part of "Singing In Siena." This is a week-long singing camp held in Casa Gialla over the last three years and will be held again in September 2008. The food cooked by our tuscan chef Lauradana reminded me of my Nonna's cooking. The food is organic and cooked with enthusiasm, pride, and love and is so tasty that you feel the food walks off your tongue! Surrounded by great food, company, Clelia's beautiful artworks, one's senses come alive in all ways and you feels the joy of life return with great gusto! Paola, who is a trained shiatsu therapist, also speaks english and has been known to bring out her guitar to play in front of the crackling fire and keep us all entertained! I am really looking forward to returning to Casa Gialla!
