Mooroopna Guesthouse is a quite residential style of accommodation. We have dormitory, single sex dormitory, double and twin room as well as a family room. Kitchen self catering facilities, high speed wireless internet is available, after hrs. Entry, washing service, employment intros, transfers, tour bookings. Mooroopna Hostel is located 3 kilometers from Shepparton on the banks of the Goulburn River in Victoria, approx. one and a half hrs drive north of Melbourne.
The property is situated 50 meters from the main street of Mooroopna and has p.o. and pub, supermarket, banking and take away shops all within 2 min walk. SpcArdmona factory sales are located 100mtrs south and has some great bargains for the traveller. The seasonal harvest of fruit presents the opportunity to work in the area over the summer months or just explore the attractions around town or in the region.
During winter we also have plenty of work on dairy farms as we are located in one of the world’s largest dairy producing areas.
The Goulburn Valley and Shepparton and Mooroopna have many different types of delicious eateries and restaurants; take advantage of the fresh food available in the area. Located only short drives away we have plenty of vineyards for those who like a good wine.
With Melbourne only 2 hours, The Murray River and Echuca only 45mins, The Snowfields 2hours, Ned Kelly country 30mins we are the perfect spot to explore all these places from one central location.
