I stayed 4 nights here, great people, great times. Bow and the rest of the crew that run this place are tops. the hostel is a haven in the middle of crazy copacabana. And believe me you need it! its like a family, except you dont have to eat your veggies if you dont want to! — moby (2007-03-09) This hostel is only new and has younge owners who are very interested in the people who stay there. One owner Bow who is from Denmark and speaks Danish, english, portgugese and german. His partner Al and friend Ali also speak excellent english because they met while going doing univercity in teaching english. Let me just say that after a month in Sth America struggling with people that could not speak fluent english this was very re-freshing and welcoming. In addition they helped me out endlessly ringing up airline companies to help get the cheapest airfaires in Brazil. They can call taxis and help transalate where ever possible. The facilities are all new and they have a cleaner daily ensure everything is kept clean.
I would highly recommend this hostel to any person travelling through Copacabana particularily those who want a clean environment, friendly service, excellent communication skills, and excellent facilities.
