4  Good for cost conscious, budget traveler like me. i will stay in this hostel next time when i visit kl.  , singaporean ()
4  Good and cheap for backpackers It was cheap and good for backpackers. Only complain are the limited toilets. My friend got bitten by bedbugs in the dorm though. The rooms are fine.  , Singapore ()
4  just fine I took the cheapest option, a bed in the dorm. The electricity near my bed station had some problems, but at the reception they were very helpful and answered all my questions tirelessly. So, for a cheap place on a great location, no complaints at all...  , dutch ()
4  Enjoyed it I stayed here for about four weeks and I got a bad vibe that they wanted me to leave for staying too long. But other than that I liked it, I've stayed in far worst places. I admit there were a few times when I was in my room and a roach crawled in from under the door. But it didn't bother me since my house back home has roaches too. Its in a great location right in Chinatown so the LRT and Puduraya Bus station is all walking distance. Its 25rm a night for your own private room, you can smoke inside the hostel, big screen TV with a huge DVD selection to watch on rainy days, and they clean the restrooms every morning. Will be staying here the next time I'm in KL Malaysia.  , USA ()
4  Fun for all! I stayed at the Red Dragon hostel in March 2007, I had a really pleasant stay in what I can only describe as the most sociable hostel I have ever stayed in. My room was spotless and although there isn't an abundance of showers I never queued for one. The lady who runs the hostel during the day was friendly and thoroughly helpful, I can also say that I didn't experience any bedbugs.  , uk ()
1  We (three of us) stayed here early april '07 and our five-bed room (room 54) was riddled with bedbugs, every bed infested -- ruined our stay in KL, we were covered head to toe in bites. After closer inspection of the beds discovered these bugs had been here some time. Reported this to the reception who gave us "mosi killer" to destroy them. Plus you pay for a/c room and it don't work. And you get two toilets and showers for the whole hostel. Avoid or inspect. We were lucky and got a refund but for health and sanity it's not worth it.  , UK ()
