Vara's Beach House

Fun! Fun! Fun!
If you're looking for a friendly, social, lively place to stay, Vara's is it. The location couldn't have been better if I wrote the screenplay of my vacation myself -- best beach/lagoon on the island with a view of three islets in the distance. From your dorm it's literally a few steps to the shimmering, turquoise, crystal clear water. Unlike many hostels, the dorms are big and roomy so there's no sense of being crammed in. It has a huge sun deck, two kitchens, plenty of bathrooms, internet access, and all the other little conveniences good hostels have. Most importantly, it has a warm, homelike ambiance that makes it easy and pleasant to settle in.

This place is just wonderful. There were no "wild nights" but just good pub crawls organised almost every night with our days been spent soaking up the sun and playing volley ball on stunning Muri Beach. The accommodation itself was very clean, with well appointed units and rooms. The staff are helpful and friendly and the location is to die for! Such a relaxed atmosphere with shops and restaurants right next door. Loved this place and would return in a heartbeat!

Vara's is a great place to end your world trip, its amazing, sand is so white, the sea is so blue. Vara is clean, right on the beach, has small dorms and apartments on suite if you want to be on your own. There is so much to do here -- walks though the island, waterfalls, the best sunset i ever saw and bar for the night life of backpackers and locals. I would go back tomorrow.
