Awesome place One of the best places I've stayed in all Latin America! It really felt like a home more than a hostel, and the staff are always wiling to help you out with stuff, including booking flights, paragliding. — Woody C , UK (2007-09-10)
what i like -- safe, good location, big house, friendly staff. what i didnt like -- expensive, not very clean, 90% male guests, oven was not working, noisy, almost everyone taking drugs in the hostel! — germantraveller , germany (2007-05-09)

Stayed here for two to three weeks. It's kinda the hostel "flavor of the month" in Medellin -- the other hostels were dead when I was there, but Black Sheep was pretty much full or close to full every night. Owner is super cool, in general nice ambience. Computers are available and have fast access, they're pretty cheap to use. In general, rooms and bathrooms are very clean and the cleaning lady actually might be the nicest person in the place. Only downside is that it's in a completely residential neighborhood, and the only place to walk for food/supplies is the massive supermarket about three to four blocks away. Some of the other hostels are in more active areas. However, Black Sheep is very near two popular parks for boozing it up so that is nice. Very safe area as well -- we would walk back from the bars all the time, and never once felt threatened in any ways. — juancho (2006-04-14)
