Stayed at Berwick Backpackers Saturday 13th May. In a nutshell -- peaceful immaculately kept family-run Budget B&B/Hostel. Location -- didden from the street behind a big green door, the nineteenth century Georgian buildings are set around a sheltered paved courtyard. It feels as though you are in provincial Frence town rather than a Scottish Border town. Style -- clean and simple. Bedrooms -- singles, doubles, twins, and triples (some with en-suite and all with TVs). Meals -- Continental breakfasts only (self service) and can be taken in the courtyard weather permitting. — John (2006-05-14) We stayed here in July 2004 and the place was virtually empty. It had no great hostel atmosphere at all. The rooms were clean and spacious though, and so was the bathroom. I think we would have enjoyed it much more if there had been more people.
