Hostel Sluzewiec

The hostel is located ca. 20 min by bus from the city centre. The bus stop is 3-4 min away. There are two small supermarkets nearby and one large, western-style shopping mall with all kinds of shop, bars, restaurants, cafes, cinema - approx. 10 min away on foot, where you can get anything - mostly cheaper than in western countries like France, UK, Germany. The stuff were friendly and helped when needed. The major advantage of the hostel is the price. Typically you get three rooms in a 'flat' with shared bathroom - a small single, an ok-size single and a larger twin-bedded room with a key for the room and the main door to the 'flat'. In general the rooms are average clean and tidy. If you want to have it additionally hovered or the bedding changed, you just need to ask and it will be done. This also applies to changing rooms. A friend of mine wasn't satisfied and he promptly got another room without any questions asked. The airport is about 10 min by taxi. My large room had a tiny balcony with a view. Security was a plus. Three rooms shared a bath room and common entrance. Translation: Two locked doors between me and the GP. The front desk was especially helpful with maps and suggestions. The hostel is being renovated, I think, and it will only get getter with time.
