Hostel offers very near location to Latvian National Opera, concert halls, churches, museums, remarkable architectural and historical places, banks and official bodies. It is central to everything you can see in Old Riga: only two minutes walk to the very center of old town, with all sorts of entertainment – nightclubs, restaurants, casinos, pubs etc. the night away.
"Riga Backpackers" offer a great number of accommodation options for all tastes and opportunities – from family rooms to dormitories and private rooms. Location	•The Hostel is located in a very pleasant and romantic place of the very heart of Old Riga. • From the Airport catch the bus No 22 and get off when you cross the Stone Bridge (which goes over Daugava River). Further, cross the main road, walk to the right and take secdond street on your left (Marstalu iela) and then walk until number 6 (The hostel is located only 5 minutes walk from the bus stop). • From the International Bus Station (only 3 minutes walk) you have to follow Daugava river walking into the old town direction. After crossing the main road and following the river (11.Novembra Krastmala), take the second street on your right (Marstalu iela), and then walk until number 6. • From the Train Station (only 5 minutes walk) cross the main road, which is in front of the Station's main building, then walk to the left and go to the second street on your right (Aspazijas bulvaris), after that, turn the first to the left (Audeju iela), which leads into Old Riga. You'll find Marstalu street 6 after 500 meters on your left.

The stairs are steep if you are drunk. It is noisy because of the train station and buses, etc. Good location. It could be very busy in the summer. The price is reasonable, the staff friendly. It's nice to have a bar but the club next door can be noisy. — Joe (2005-10-05)
