Youth Hotel Yunnat is located about forty minutes by bus from the central station. Catch the bus to Moshtitshka via bus No. 18 and 7. Walk one hundred meters back the way the bus came. Cross the road and enter the gates (as shown in the pictures) and walk around eight minutes through the garden. The road will curve around to the right and you will walk past two unused buildings.
Return trips from central bar area will be a twenty-minute cab ride. As a result, the hostel is geared toward the dedicated budget traveler who wants quiet nights in. The atmosphere is quiet and dull. There is a community area with a TV but there does not appear to be a communal kitchen. The decor is old and appears dull, drab, and dirty, however this is more due to the age of the decor.
Rooms are basic -- two to four beds per room with cold running water and a toilet. When we tried to use the water from the taps, it was rusty brown and did not smell drinkable. Showers are hot but communal. There is only one shower on the third and ground levels to be shared with rooms with no showers. This causes some difficulty at peak times.
At night there is a midnight curfew. There are guards in the garden and it is recommended that you don't try and jump the gates after curfew. If you're on a budget, then this is the place for you.
