Description
Enjoy your stay in our new hostel which is right in the heart of the Ulaanbaatar city. At Sandwich Hostel we provide hot showers, TV and phone (free local calls), English style breakfast ,as well as tea and coffee. Internet access is also available.
The State Department Store is just 3 km away. It only costs 800 tug rugs. (about 65 cents). We are also very near Bogd Khaan Museum and 7 min taxi ride from Sukhbaatar Square, Ulaanbaatar's centre. We are very near Zaisan hill which is one of city's main attractions. The National History Museum and Zanabazar's fine art museum are all less than 5 km away. Some of our guests will have a beautiful view of Zaisan hill from their room window.
We have a common room where travellers can get together to share travel information and experiences.

This hostel is great! It just opened this summer 2005 and I hope it does very well. Although it is not as centrally located as some hostels in Ulaanbaatar, taxis into the city center are cheap and readily available. It is very clean and well fitted and the showers are fantastic! The staff are also very friendly and helpful and it is a nice quiet location. Right by the Naadam stadium, it is perfect if you are visiting the festival. — Will Allen (2005-10-01)
