• Departing at Mercado Modelo in Salvador, the Lancha is a good option, to board the island of Itaparica, preferred by locals and natives, who go by day. Sai during the day, with interval of 30 minutes. Only for pedestrians.
• On arrival at Mar Grande it's best to ask for a taxi. They have a counter in the car, and they take you safely and directly (R$ 30-40.00).
