Description

Sea Gypsy Backpackers has 6 A-frame chalets. An "A frame" is an absolutely lovely Malay building that looks like the letter A when standing in front of it. Ours are constructed from wood & atap (roofing made from palm fronds). Each chalet has a little porch with two chairs and is very close to the beach.

Sea Gypsy Backpackers is located on Pulau Sibu, off the East Coast of Malaysia. The area around Sibu has been turned into a Marine Park some years back so the island and its waters are beautiful.

In addition to our lovely beach, we also have our Dan's Nasty Frogmen Dive Base, a restaurant with an all day menu (very reasonably priced), and a great bar that never closes.
