A nice place A nice enough place -- the owner seemed very friendly. we arrived at 8 a.m. having spent three hours sleeping in an alleyway -- our coach got in at 4 a.m. and we couldn't get into the hostel till 8! he gave us breakfast immediately before even asking for money, and let me check my emails on his personal computer. then we were showed to our room, which was lovely, a great view over the bay. The rooms were clean and we had an en-suite bathroom, which was great. Breakfast was good, free as well, and the hostel had a lovely location, close to the centre of the city. Could have been a bit closer to the beach though! A few bad points -- the hostel had no central common room, so there was no way to meet fellow travelers. also, the hostel is a school, and there were children in classes while we were there -- doesn't lend itself to too much of a "backpackers" atmosphere!

I had a great stay here. Owners are indeed very friendly and helpful. Most of rooms are dorms (at least I stayed in one), large, with an excellent view. An acceptable coffee, and right in the center of the city.
