WOW! I stayed at Casa Kiwi in 2005 on my first visit to Colombia -- 6 trips have since followed, and I now live in Bucaramanga, Colombia. I was more than impressed! Paul -- the owner, from Seattle, WA, USA -- was riding his motorcycle from Alaska to Argentina when his trip got delayed due to the charms of Medellin! What he created was beautiful, luxurious, welcoming, and fun! I haven't returned to Medellin recently but when I do I look forward to discovering the rooftop pool and social area! Thanks for creating a great hostel in a wonderful location in The City of Eternal Spring -- Medellin! — Anonymous (2010-03-15) Good Times! I rented a private room early May 2008. It was nice, nothing big, but perfect for my best friend and me. We only stayed for two days in Medellin but I wish we stayed longer. The staff was very pleasant and really laid back. The house was full of people from all over the world. It was fun talking to all the other travelers every night. The owner was really nice and helped us a lot, thank you Paul! I definitely recommend staying at the Kiwi Casa. Everything is close -- restaurants, clubs, bars, boutiques, fast food places, Juan Valdez, and the metro.
