All and all it was not that bad. I just got one beef...and that is their book exchange. Finding books in English is really hard in SA, and there is no need to make it harder by having a 2 for 1 book exchange. What backpacker takes two books with them!! I think that this is a really rotten policy and for that reason alone I will not stay at a HI again.
