The Hostelz.com Review
This is a simple, new hostel located in the old city of Plodiv, only a few minutes walk to the Roamn ampitheatre and main street. There is a large, quite bare common room and a nicer courtyard, as well as a very basic kitchen.
The rooms themselves are of a similar fasion. The dorm rooms sleeps about twelve people, and is both clean and funcional. The beds are comfotable and the bathroom is quite nice and very clean, although on a different floor to the dorm so perhaps a little inconveniently located. The hostel offeres free internet and breakfast is included in the price of 20 leva (10 euro).
Despite the basic nature of this hostel, it does have a friendly atmostphere and wonderfully welcoming staff. Perhaps this is a hostel that does not encourage one spend a great deal of time hanging out in, but it is a nice place to come back to at the end of a days sightseeing.

Good for social people, bad for those who want decent sleep The atmosphere is good, as well as the location in the old part of the city (although trying to walk here with a heavy pack was not a good idea -- better get a taxi, since free pick up was not offered, only available if you also booked at Hiker's Hostel at Veliko Tarnovo). There was only one bathroom for 8 dorm beds and a private room, so that makes for a hectic morning. Free breakfast is tea, muesli, bread, jam, meat, and cheese. There was also free internet in the one computer they have. The staff was friendly, but not professional. I woke up to one of the female staff having sex with someone staying at the hostel one day. The next night, the other female staff was loudly drinking with the other tourists. — Lis , US (2010-08-13) Very friendly and a nice place to stay We stayed here after another hostel in the centre and it was a breath of fresh air. I have not seen the property down the street that also belongs to the hostel but from what I've seen I have nothing then the best to say about this hostel. When I arrived in Plovdiv, I had booked with another hostel. After wandering around the ancient part of the city, I stumbled upon this hostel. I took a look inside, and immediately moved the next day. I ended up staying one night longer than I had planned, and as a result, showed up a day late to another hostel I had reserved.
