The Hostelz.com Review
Seville Backpacker Picasso Hostel is a quaint, yet vibrant hostel located in a prime area of Seville. You'll find yourself in a comfortable and convenient place where it's easy to make friends. It's tucked away in a little corner, but not hard to find.
The Location
This hostel is easily reachable from the airport -- follow the signs at the airport that point you towards bus transit. Hop on this bus and get off at the last stop near Estacion Prado on Avenida del Cid. From there, walk towards Avenida de Carlos V and turn left on this road. Walk down this road (no cars allowed, just the city tram can enter this road) and turn right when you reach Starbucks. The road is called Calle San Gregorio and the hostel is number 1. It's conveniently located in a lively quarter of Seville where you will find many bars and restaurants, but luckily it's tucked away enough to avoid too much noise. The tram is easily accessible from Picasso Hostel, as well as the Prado Bus Station.
Rooms and Bathrooms
The dorm rooms in Picasso are somewhat small and cramped; however, the beds are well equipped with sheets and comforters. You can pick between coed, all-male, or all-female dorm rooms. Also, all of the rooms are equipped with a small air-conditioning unit, which is quite necessary in the summer. The bathrooms are also small but have what you need, meaning a sink, a toilet, and a shower. Each room has its own bathroom. Keep in mind that the rooms do not have lockers, but each room is lockable with a room key that is provided to you at check-in.
Common Spaces
The common spaces include a computer area and a kitchen. The computer area is a cozy room with a large table, a couch, a coffee table, and a sofa chair. There are also two desktop computers (with internet) available for use. Also, the hostel has free Wi-Fi. The kitchen is large, equipped with a sink, a fridge, a table, a toaster. There is also a foosball table. The hostel does provide free breakfasts, yet there's not much to offer ... just some toast, tea, or coffee, and one or two types of cereal.
Summary
The location is great and the hostel is well-kept -- the facilities are all there. All in all, it's a good bang for your buck. But do note that horse carriages pass by the front door of this hostel about every five minutes throughout the day and into the night -- perhaps the sound of an occasional horse trot will keep you awake all night if you're a light sleeper.

Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
If i could, i would give this place a minus-one star rate. Rude, unfriendly, unhelpful staff, and there was no free internet, no free coffee, no TV room as promised on their own website. — Homer Simpson (2007-02-04)
