Good hostel in a good location. Although it is a bit of a distance (about seven-minute drive) from downtown San Jose (quite a sketchy place) the area is much nicer and cleaner and has a plenty of bars, restaurants, and even two malls. Unless you specifically want to stay in downtown San Jose, this is a much better option. The hostel itself is located in a pretty original old mansion. It is clean but could use a few more touch ups, in my opinion. The hostel comes with a pool table, TV, free internet, and friendly, helpful staff.

Nice place. We had some good times in the bars around. "Viva la Calle de la Amargura !!!"

If you want to have a good time, there are lots of bars around. I also went to the volcano and to some canopy. They also have surfing trips. Your vacation is setup at Casa Yoses.
