Great hostel in chc!! This is one of the best hostels I stayed in New Zealand. Especially the location is unbeatable -- only 3 mins away from the bus stop. The girl in the reception was really helpful and friendly. Nice TV lounge with comfortable sofa. They also have a table for playing Chess. This is a place with hotel quality but hostel price which I recommend staying in CHC. — Chao , Taiwan (2010-05-05) Excellent! It's an excellent location right in the city (but I never found it very noisy). Friendly helpful staff where nothing is too much trouble. The whole place was exceptionally clean and tidy. Great atmosphere in the bar and TV lounge. It might not have many reviews at the moment but it is definitely worth a staying here rather than anywhere else in Christchurch. — Liz (2006-10-21) I stayed in several hostels in Christchurch in March 2005 and this was easily the best. It had spotless kitchens and comfy bunks with en suite facilities — so no wandering around corridors in a towel — plus a nice little bar.
