Hotel Kalender

Badly run
Turned up at the Hotel at 11 p.m. on a Sunday night, booking in hand. Told there were no rooms and was taken to another hotel around the corner and given the most disgusting room ever seen (mould throughout the bathroom). Talking to other travelers and a hostel owner, Kalendar are known for this behaviour.

We had the best time at Hotel Kalender. No luxury, but clean, nice and cheap rooms. I can only recommend a stay here! It's a very friendly hotel. And on top of it, they serve really nice dinner every night for only 4 euros.

This hotel was very good value for money — the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and we always had hot water. The pool was fantastic — definitely get one of the rooms that open up onto the pool — it was great. The bar prices and food prices were also much cheaper than in town! We really enjoyed our stay at Kalender Hotel and found the local staff a pleasure to deal with as they are so keen to help. Thank you very much.
