The atmosphere in Ocean Hostel is pretty good, its' leisurely and friendly. Some people have been stayed in this hostel for long time. Generally, it's tidy and clean but the kitchen is a bit unorderly and crowded.
The location of is not ideal, it's a bit far from city centre; it will be an ideal work to walk though the long Leith Street! However, the day pass for bus is cheap, only asked for 2.3 pounds.
There is a bar just opposite to the street, and many people gathered and clamoured until midnight, it will prevent you from good sleep if your room is near the street.
The price of Ocean Hostel is relatively cheap—12 Pounds one night, so it's still deserve to live in.
