Solid place, all single rooms that all connect to flats. Nice size rooms, dorms during term time. Four bedrooms to a flat or apartment. Only negative slightly less social then other hostels. Best nights sleep in edinburgh. — Ned (2006-07-10)

I and my children (daughter, 13; son, 15) had the pleasure of staying here for two nights, 25 and 26JUL2004. Having our own adjacent rooms (there are no larger rooms) was ideal after having spent the previous several weeks together in either family rooms or dorm room in hostels. Excellent hostel. Cheapest we could find with single rooms, clean and quiet, comfy beds, large room. Nice big kitchen between 12 people, bathroom between 4 but 2 more bathrooms in the flat. Only three negatives: There were a lot of stairs with no lift (we were on the fourth floor), the showers were hot but a bit weak and there was no toaster!
