1 p.m. indeed! Right, having to take the only available option to get from San Cristobal to Oaxaca, which is a nightbus, I arrived early in the morning. They say there's a twenty-four-hour reception, which I naively interpreted as the possibility of arriving early in the morning, if I can't help it. I rang the bell, a woman looked out of a window at the side and actually told me without any regret, that check in is at 1 p.m., before that she can't do anything for me. What am I supposed to do between 6:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. then, dead tired after twelve hours on the bus and exhausted? I left without further comment. I suppose they don't need guests given their good reputation. Another hostel took me in without any hassle just ten minutes later. That was really poor service, even though I'm sure the rest of their amenities are good.

Excelent Hostel, very good breakfast. the dorms are almost like a private room. just three minutes and we were in the heart of the historic center. they have very profesional Mexican cooking lessons! above all, it was very clean and the staff was great.
