This is an interesting "stop over" place, not alot to do in the town, population of 80 people without the summer traffic. Lots of Cyclists, birders, and just plain travelers stay in the hostel. The hotel is filled with mainly Holland America tour guests (60+ age category). Good place to gas and rest up on your way to Alaska or towards the Yukon.

It is the large wooden "lodge" like building across from the visitors information centre. Coming in from the south, you will pass by the old Beaver Creek hostel, which is no longer running. • It is 5 hours away (driving)North West from Whitehorse, 2 1/2 hours NW away from Haines Jct, and 2 hours South of Tok, Alaska. |
