Hostel Orfeo is located in the heart of the centre of the city, established in 1969. it is situated within a short walk to the Leidseplein, the Kerkstraat, the Reguliersdwarsstraat and Vondelpark.
We are a guest hostel located within a short walk you will find the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh and the Stedelijk Museums as well as the Holland Casino and the City Theater.
We have rooms with shared bathroom facilities and rooms rooms with private en-suites that are available on request. Each comfortable room has TV, and a washbasin.

The hostel is clean and cosy, the staff is friendly and ready to assist the guests in every kind of enquiry. The location is perfect, 'cause as you step out from the hostel, the streets are full of restaurants, coffeshops, night clubs, and all the facilities that one might need when travelling (supermarket, ATMs, cigarette shops). Internet WIFI is fast and available in rooms.

Friendly and helpful staff especially Rashid and the funny crazy Ali. Wonderful location with dive bars and coffee shops just around the corner . Prefect for meeting interesting travelers as well as relocating expats. Hot showers. Warm rooms.

It was in a great location and it was very easy to get to all the major attractions in the city. There are also many excellent restaurants around the hostel. The front desk was very helpful and breakfast was simple but good (toast with butter, jelly, peanut butter, coffee, juice, and hard boiled eggs.)

One of the worst rooms ive got in all trips I have made before (4 ppl shared bathrrom for 4 rooms of 4 ppl) ! The room is completely small, like an corridor! The bathroom is disgusting! Besides that, they were smelling shit, and the shower was also ridiculous, they cant even spout water properly!
The only good thing was that It was well localized and they've an basic breakfast!

Such a great place! Been here twice now, and so happy we ended up here. The toilet smelled awful but apart from that we had a great time - the position couldn't be better, fantastic, cheap restaurants and bars and the cinema very close by, plus the museums only a stone's throw!

Bedroom was fine (though we could have done with a ladder to the top bunk!), linen all very clean, towel hire a definite plus. Toilet was a bit sketchy but the shower was good! The location is fantastic, absolutely great, and we'll be returning happily next week!

Ok, but not as gay as promised It was pretty good -- I appreciated the breakfast and location, although the rooms are a bit spartan, but nothing out of the ordinary for a hostel (except there were no lockers).
