1  Don't come here! I have been to many hostels, and I love them for what they are -- usually messy, sometimes grody, always a little chaotic. But even I could not handle this place. I spent the night sitting on my suitcase, because the beds all had bedbugs, and I had a feeling there might be scabies or worse in the carpet and chairs. Bill was nice enough, but his motto is "copulate don't populate," and he'll talk your ear off about that. Women (myself included) have no business having children, Bill insisted. His first question to me was, "Do you have babies? Women shouldn't have babies." I don't know when the last person visited this hostel, but I'm guessing it's been quite awhile -- but the sheets and towels in the hamper haven't been washed since. It was unclear whether anything had been washed -- ever. This is the dirtiest place I've ever visited. I got back on the bus the next morning, and will never go back. If I could give it less than one star, I would. Maybe half a star, because if you have nowhere else to go you would at least be safe here.  , USA ()
2  Hmm, well I was going to stay but......Bill seemed a nice guy and despite the surly looking neighbors across the street, $14 for a night seemed pretty good. It's basically a three bedroom house (or four or five) with bunks in one room for the guys and another room for the gals, with a family room too. It was a hot day when i visited with a view to staying but it all seemed a bit cluttered and certainly fetid in the dorm rooms.  ()
