It's great, private, with considerate hosts and a lovely small town a walk away. It has hot showers (not always encountered on my trip), a restful environment, and starry nights.

The main building of the St. Ignatius Hostel is built partially underground which helps keep it cool naturally with thick adobe walls. The amiable owners/managers also rent teepees and run a campground. If you're lucky, you might get a glimpse of bison because the hostel is located close to the National Bison Range.

I stayed at this hostel and thought it was really great. The people that operate the place were very polite and accommodating. I wish them continued success in their business.
