Hostelz.com Guest Reviews
5  Great value, location, quality We stayed two months when this cottage was located three kilometers towards town -- great then, it now has new decks, laundry, kitchen, and bathroom. location slightly elevated for the view, end of the road for quiet, near Costeau Resort. fifty steps to the water. Easy to relax, sit outside, drink beer, listen to the birds and the sea. A well-equipped kitchen with microwave and stove. Gary joked he would even enjoy doing the dishes with that view. (He never did.) We took the 12:30 bus to town to eat at Surf n' Turf at the Copra Shed most days. We'd check our mail at Savusavu Computers, wander the shops and market. Take a taxi home. There's the hint of the artist in both house and garden design. Long-trunked coconut palms leaning out front. Giant rain trees shading overhead. The garden is full of palms, heliconia, ginger, orchid, hibiscus, and various spotted/colorful plants. Or you could be at a backpackers in town, sharing amenities, for a similar price. Figure it out.  , Coromandel New Zealand ()
