SMITHY ANDREWS'S BACKGROUND
Back in the 18th Century numbers 31-35 Main Street were a Blacksmiths Forge and Stable. The twin cottages (33& 35) have been the Wee Hoosie B&B for over 7 years but in 2004 we transformed 31 from a sadly neglected garage to a magic space with many fascinating mementos of its life as a forge! Now to many of our regular hostel visitors "It is a very special place" In fact we have nicknamed it "ALADDINS CAVE"

Location	Situated in a picturesque village but just 3 minutes by taxi or 30 minutes walk from Prestwick international airport and adjoining railway station with half hourly trains to Glasgow. Whilst 5 minutes drive will take you to major roads in all directions allowing easy access to the Isle of Arran, loch lomond, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Borders Country.
