2  We were pretty freaked out by this hostel. We didn't see hardly any people here, it was just really deserted and the showers were not that great. Our bed was so creaky and wobbly we were really scared that it was going to just collapse! it was nice to have a sink in the room, but overall i really didn't enjoy this place. if you are staying here by yourself, i would definitely not recommend it because it is just so creepy with no people around. it was alright for us because we only stayed for one night, and just got the hell out of there, but if you are staying for longer than one night this is definitely not the place to be if you're looking for some measure of comfort. also, they say that it is a fifteen-minute walk from the train station, but it's definitely more like thirty-five to forty minutes of walking.  ()
3  Hostel was nice and clean. There is a 12am Curfew though that may have you sleeping on the street if you enjoy night life. The hostel is very quiet and the people are nice, it is an old monestary though. Pictures of Jesus everywhere, may or may not be your thing.  ()
3  This was generally a very quiet hostel except for one night when there were many children running around being very loud and the staff did nothing to quiet them down. The rooms are very spacious and kept clean. They have drawers in the rooms for you to put personal items in, however they are not locked. The rooms also have sinks. The hallways tend to be pretty dark and you never see too many people walking around. I would stay here again, but I would check out other hostels first.  ()
2  This hostel is not that great. It is cheap, yes, 16 EUR or so, but it was really quiet. The people who stayed here didn't really seem much into socializing, which was a pity. It might have been the time of the year, in May it simply isn't that crowded in Florence, but unfortunately we only saw a handful of people in this hostel, which is quite big by the way. The showers were good, but the toilet on the first floor is in open connection with the rest of the bathroom, and it doesn't provide that much privacy. I didn't really like that. By the way, about the "small kitchen facilities?" There are none, not even a microwave. The man at the reception did allow me to receive a phone call when I asked for it. That was nice. Overall, it is ok if you just want to sleep here for a good price, but don't expect too much comfort or anything extra. It is a walk of medium length to the city center, pretty ok but not very close or so.  ()
