Loud and dirty This hostel is in a sad location of Copacabana. Copacabana is not the place to be when you go to Rio. Ipanema is much better. The rooms are dirty and hot and stocked with three bunk beds with three beds per bunk bed. No ladder to get to the top bunk. Mattresses are totally worn out, need to be replaced. sheets with stains. Hardly anyplace to sit for breakfast. Breakfast doesn't look the pictures on the website. Nothing does really looks like the website. Loud all night long with people that drink the expensive drinks that the hostel sells. They say that at 2 a.m. everybody needs to be quit but the reality is that the noise of people talking loud and singing goes on and on. Also I spend a night in a private room, also dirty. No lockers to put your backpack in, a small wooden box is all you can get. Not save at all. People can just walk in and out of the hostel, imagine what could happen.
