4 We were a party of four (two married couples) who stayed at Formosa Hostel in March 2005. These are very simple, but very adequate, accommodations. Your host, Roman, does everything possible to may make your stay enjoyable. The location is relatively easy to find, located only about two hundred meters from the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and an easy walk from the MRT (subway) station. The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall MRT station is on the west side of the Memorial. Walk to the east side of the Memorial, find Hang Zhou S. Rd. (The address as written on the street sign is "No. 13 Lane 25 Hang Zhou S. Rd. Sec. 2." This same road is written "Hangjhou S. Rd." on the popular "TaipeiMap" tourist map.) Continue east about two hundred meters on Lane 25. The hostel, at No. 13, is on the north side of the street.
