| Location | •The hostel Belægningen is located only 10 km from the center of Copenhagen. There are various possibilities to reach the hostel by public transportation or by car. Inside the main entrance you'll find a map of the camp. The Hostel Belægningen is located in building no 34. • By bus: Take bus 650S from the Central Station of Copenhagen towards Avedøre Station. Get off at Avedøre School, walk straight through the crossing and further 100 m along Avedøre Tværvej. You will find the entrance to the camp on your right side. Follow the signs to Hostel Belægningen. • By train: Take blue S train A or A+ from the Central Station towards Hundige/Køge. Get off at Avedøre station. Take bus 133 and get off at the 4th stop right in front of the Avedøre Camp. By foot from the Avedøre Station you have to walk about 500m down Byvej past the Avedøre market town, turn left on Avedøre Tværvej. About 100m down you will find the Avedøre Camp on your right. Departure and itinerary see: : www.ht.dk (the Copenhagen area) and www.dsb.dk (all train destinations in Denmark). • By car: From Storebælt: Take the highway E20 towards Copenhagen. Follow the signs in direction Airport. Take exit 21 going to Hvidovre. At the 3rd stoplight turn left along Brostykkevej which changes its name into Avedøre Tværvej. About 100 m further on you will find the Avedøre Camp on your right. The hostel is located in building no 34. From north and from Øresund Bridge: Take E20 and follow the same description as above. |

I stayed at the Hostel Belaegningen in May 2006 for four nights. I can honestly say it's one of the best hostels I've stayed at -- it's very clean, the rooms are great, and the location was very nice. It's not in the city center, but it's no problem taking a bus or train into the city center. If you want a hostel you can stumble back to after a night on the town, this probably isn't the one. But if you want a place where you can rest and have some relaxation and quiet, I highly recommend this hostel. — peter m. (2006-06-05)
