Would be 0, but the linens seemed clean and I was greeted upon arrival There's no atmosphere, even though it's peak season. It's not a fun place to stay, and lacks the basics of what you expect for a hostel. It's very cheap and depressing. I thought it was on the corner of Maranon and Yaxchilan, but soon found out it's not. It's a dark walk through Maranon back to Yaxchilan, where a lot of places to eat and drink are located. — Tan (2009-12-29)

Do not stay in this place! Avoid it at all costs. The rooms aren't clean, and the bathrooms are quite an adventure. It needs some serious cleaning. Not to mention they have a curfew for the kitchen at 10 p.m., so if you get there later than 10 p.m. and are hungry, you can't even get anything from the fridge. It's better to pay a bit more in some other hostel than wasting your money on this one. — Rob Cuevas (2006-11-30)
