2  Not the best This is a really busy hostel. If you do not have a reservation, there is a pretty good chance you are not staying here. The hostel is quite clean. The swimming pool is definitely a bonus in a hot city like Foz do Iguacu. Internet is free. Unfortunately, there is only one computer for the entire hostel. So, unless you don't mind waiting for an hour or two, you're better off going to town center and pay for internet there. When I was there, the morning receptionist was quite rude, but at least she could speak English. Like most other HI hostels that I have been to, it just another clean hostel with not much character.  , Canada ()
3  The located in city of Foz do Iguaçu, Paudimar Falls Hostel is close to many restaurants and main shopping street. The bus stop to head out to the beautiful waterfalls, bird park, or to nip into Paraguay is two blocks away. The Hostel is new, the building in good condition with an excellent common room, complete with cable T.V, free internet, a pool table and board games. There is a super clean swimming pool too. The guests are generally young tourists and from every corner of the globe and the vibe is good. Staff speak English, Spanish and of course Portugues. Breakfast is included but basic. There is also a kitchen semi-outside. The rooms appear spotless, but unfortunately there are a few vermin scampering around the place. The staff assured that this was the first time a rat had been seen in one of the rooms, but whether this is a common problem or not, it does not bode well. The beds however are comfortable and the mattresses new. The bathrooms are clean but in shared rooms with ensuites, there is not much privacy as the toilet and shower are cubicles and not in a separate room. The hostel also organises tours (transport really) to the Argentinian side of the falls. Be careful if you are not coming back to Brazil as they charge the same amount as a return journey, and may not pick you up to take you to the bus station as they tell you they will. If you have time take the public bus, a little more hassle but alot cheaper. There is a counter at the bus station and they will let you know how to get to the hostel, as well as ring ahead and make sure they have the room you want. All in all this is an enjoyable place to stay, hopefully they will work on getting rid of the little black scurriers.  , czech republic ()
4  The hostel is very good, and also its location. The bar and the swimming pool were the best places. The dorms were hot, but the weather was 46 degrees (Celsius).  ()
2  The dorms were very hot. The women's shower rooms stink and the pool is extremely dirty. It has an okay atmosphere, though.  ()
